The Biancograt is a perfect ridge, an aesthetic ramp of snow and ice that rises skyward; After traversing it all, it follows an airy, fun rocky ridge to Pizzo Bernina.
Depending on the speed of the roped party, there are 3 possible options:
For mountaineers who have good physical training and have other mountaineering ascents of similar difficulty (Hintergrat at Ortles, Disgrazia...) under their belt.

Mountain clothing (pants and fleece, windbreaker, cap, gloves), sunglasses, packed lunch, mountain footwear, crampons, ice axe, harness. All necessary technical equipment (harness, ice axe, crampons) can be rented. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.

Half day on rock: basic training on materials and knots, basic climbing movements, assisted abseiling.
Half day on the glacier: knowledge and correct use of the ice material, rope climbing progression on glacier and mixed terrain.
The course concludes with a mountaineering climb on a peak in Livigno. The choice of the summit and the ascent route will depend on the technical skills of the participants.
For everyone (minimum age 13 years). It is necessary to have good hiking experience and good physical training.

Piz Paradisìn is the highest peak in our area and its ascent requires a high level of mountain walking skill, even on exposed sections. It is a beautiful rocky peak with a trapezoidal shape, partly covered by what remains of the small Campo Glacier.
It is through the Val di Campo valley that one approaches its slopes, passes the Laghetti della Valletta and continues on a glacier, from which the summit is already clearly visible, and which is reached after traversing a rocky ridge.
Partly on a marked path, with stretches on scree and exposed passages. For good walkers (minimum age 14 years, used to walking).

The Piz da Salient is an isolated and little-travelled peak, clearly visible from the Passo del Foscagno. The traverse from the south ridge to the east ridge is an itinerary with technical and exposed sections and easy I° climbs.
We walk along the Val da Salient and, after passing the Baitel da la Sascia, we arrive at the Bocheta da Tropion, where the actual traverse begins. From here, a series of towers, gullies and small walls take us to the summit. The descent along the opposite ridge is easier but still requires concentration until the Bocheta dal Canton.
